Well, I'm about to get off of my vessel and head to the house... I've got quite a few projects to work on when I get there... A power supply kit coming from Elenco (Triple output +/- 15 V variable and +5 V fixed for only 72.00 or so! I thought it was a bit of a bargain...I'll be using it to power the Softrocks and my HPSDR setup and various other sundry tasks if it works well..), finish building the Softrock Lites and I should have a 40/30m RXTX there waiting, also. Then, it's off to the rooftop to install a 40m long wire to the next tree over. And, if there's any time left over, I'll get a bit more soldering done on the DSP-10. Hopefully all will turn out well!

Submitted by k5nwa (not verified) on Tue, 07/10/2007 - 15:03.I also bought one of the Elenco Kits, I bought the model with 6.3VAC and 12.6VAC outputs besides the +5 and +- adjustable outputs. I want to do some experiments with low voltage tubes and the adjustable power supplies can give me up to +30 volts more than enough for the tubes I will be playing with. Plus one small supply with three outputs is convenient for experimenting without eating up your desk space.

Submitted by KE5FJV on Wed, 07/18/2007 - 20:31.Hey Cecil! I got the power supply built and I'm loving it. I had one little glitch and that solved within a half hour. After that, the PS is working great.
I have just a little more to do on a SoftRock Lite (80m) before I can get it online. I received an "apartment antenna" 6-80m coil loaded whip (MFJ-1625) and will be using that until I can get some larger antennas in the air on my property. Time and money, don't ya know?
Hope all is well on that end. The site is looking great!

I'm getting a little itchy to build something, hopefully my 30M/20M RxTx from Tony will be arriving soon to give me something to do besides playing with my computers.
